The 2019 Indianapolis 500 race begins on 26 May, 2019 @ 1500GMT with the top Indy drivers participating in a 500 miles (805 km) race over 200 laps. The Indy 500, aptly billed as The Greatest Spectacle in Racing is considered to be part of the Triple Crown of Motorsport which also includes the Monaco Grand Prix and 24 Hours of Le Mans.
